Brigham Young junior teammates Joey Nokes and Aidan Troutner led the Cougars to a second-place finish as a team with 101 points in the men's 8-kilometer race at the Virginia Invitational at the Panorama Farms course in Earlysville, Va. Nokes finished fourth in 23:30.5 and Troutner was 14th in 23:40.3, helping the Cougars place five scorers in the top 30.
