North Carolina teammates Parker Wolfe and Alex Phillip helped the Tar Heels take third overall with 157 points in the men's 8-kilometer race at the Virginia Invitational at the Panorama Farms course in Earlysville, Va. Wolfe, a junior, clocked 23:23.1 to place second, with graduate student-athlete Phillip earning eighth in 23:33.0 in his first 8-kilometer competition for North Carolina following his transfer as a two-time NCAA Division 3 cross country champion at John Carroll in Ohio.
